Every Sunday of Lent the Sisterhood may decide to relax the Daughters of Sion (DoS) discipline in one of two ways, which they will decide on at the sisterhood meeting beforehand:

Allow ONE Dessert as part of Sunday Dinner,

OR

allow ONE Coffee/Soft Drink/Alcoholic Beverage.

WAIT FOR IT...

On St. Patrick’s Day and on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, and on the Solemnity of the Annunciation and on the Feast day of St. Gemma Galgani (Monday April 11th) the women may relax the DoS disciplines by allowing ONE Dessert AND One Coffee/Alcoholic Beverage/Soft Drink.
