Month of the Sacred Heart

Solemnity 24th June 2022

In 1675, Jesus told St. Margaret Mary that He wanted the

Feast of the Sacred Heart to be celebrated on the Friday

after the Corpus Christi octave. In 1856, the Feast of the

Sacred Heart became a universal feast.

St. John Paul II, a great devotee of the Sacred Heart, said,

“This feast reminds us of the mystery of the love of God

for the people of all times.”

In 2022, we celebrate the Solemnity of the

Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 24.

Join us as we pray a novena to prepare our hearts for this wonderful feast day! We begin on WEDNESDAY 15TH JUNE and finish the day before the feast.

Sacred Heart: About Us

So we are making a novena as an act of love to Jesus.

Each day we will do Lectio reading for about 20 minutes,

followed by around 10 mins reading the novena daily reflection.

Finish each prayer time with the Litany of the Sacred Heart.

(We include also the Litany of Humility which would be a great way to open your time of prayer.)
